We have some news to share with you regarding the Red team captaincy for the upcoming 40 over Regionalliga season. We want to start by thanking Murali for his leadership and commitment to the team during his time as Red team captain. While Murali has decided to step down from his position as Red team captain for 40, we want to clarify that he will still be continuing as T20 captain for the season 2023.
As a committee, we understand and respect Murali's decision to step down from the Red team captaincy for 40 over. We recognize the personal challenges he is facing and wish him all the best. Moving forward, we are pleased to announce that Vinay Kumarmath has been selected as the new Red team captain for the upcoming season.
Vinay has been a dedicated member of the team and has shown a strong attitude towards the game. He has the passion and drive to take the team to new heights and build a strong and positive culture within the club. We are excited about his leadership and believe that he is the right person to lead the team to success.
